Enjoy a guided tour of Compound’s When the Veil Thins art exhibition curated by revered artist, Tofer Chin, and Contemplative Educator and Mindfulness Teacher, Mari Orkenyi, as well as the Sculpture Garden followed by dinner prepared by Chef in Residence, Eugene Santiago, at Union from 6pm-9pm.
Post-dinner, you will not want to miss stopping into Compound’s retail space where one-of-a-kind gifts and goods from a thoughtfully curated community of artists including designs, jewelry, books, home decor, wellness, and more will be available for purchase.

Fostering community through cuisine, Chef-in-Residence, Eugene Santiago of Baryo is at the helm of Union featuring an imaginative Southeast Asian inspired menu that showcases California-fresh ingredients together with bold and bright flavors and spices to awaken the palate and the senses.
Standout dishes include the Pancit, Steamed Crab Dip served with Hey Brother Baker bread, Shrimp Toast, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and the Black Cod Sinigang Na Miso.

A selection of programs are free and accessible thanks to the generous support of partners and funders. General admission to Compound is free and parking is available at Compound’s nearby parking structure located at 1326 Obispo Avenue.
