I just want to give David Lynch a hug, what a man and what a mastermind. One of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched, up there with The Sopranos and Breaking Bad for me. Kyle Maclachlan was born to play the role of Dale Cooper, he was so good. Found myself saying “how good is Kyle Maclachlan” about 3 times an episode. Take a bow Kyle MacLachlan, David Lynch and Mark Frost. This is the greatest TV show I’ve ever watched. Kyle MacLachlan is just so wonderful, he plays 3 completely different characters and excels in all of the roles. David Lynch is splendid as Gordon Cole as I always say. An expertly directed film by Fellini which for me tops La Dolce Vita. It really does go seamlessly from present to past and from reality to dreams. Smartly written dialogue and a very well told story on a struggling director who goes to his dreams and to his past to try and create his next film. This has been on my priority list for so long and I’m glad to have finally got it watched, it has definitely held the test of time.

Mysterious Skin 2004
One of those films that I’m not sure I’ll ever revisit. Absolutely harrowing stuff. Hard to put into words on what to say about this film but it’s definitely best to go in blind. It makes it a much more thought provoking and devastating experience. RIP Michelle Trachtenberg.
