Hollywood High 1976
"It's fun to be young!"
Used to think Hardbodies was the most male-gazey film of all time, but this movie takes the cake. Though, it's difficult to even call it a movie. There's no screenwriter credited, and it kinda feels like they made it up as they went along. And in the editing process, simply used every single foot of exposed film to ensure it'd reach feature length.
That said, the last three seconds of the movie ruptured the space…

Longlegs 2024
Longlegs has gotta be the most artistically uncompromised film I've seen this year. It's just so rad that Neon is continuing to push transgressive art like this into mainstream cinemas. I'm so envious of what Osgood was able to pull off here - there's really no other film like it.
