oh, how the song tugs at my old soul heartstrings. so sad i couldn't find the track anywhere :((
simple and cute story. also, what a delightful surprise to see Timothy Hutton in the cast! every so often, i find myself searching for another film with the same warm, homey vibe as Ordinary People (excluding the darker context ofc), though i can never quite find one that hits the mark. i thought about that as i began watching this film, and seeing the charming Timothy here—who also starred in Ordinary People—made it even better!

What a modern living mood. It's especially a good watch for the rainy season. It holds issues of youth which felt like dull mazes without an exit, but even in that vibe the film still gently leans on your shoulder and asks you wait for what it is meant for - growth.
