The City of Decatur, Georgia, is officially a UNICEF Child Friendly City! 🎉 We're thrilled to celebrate Decatur as the third city in the U.S. to receive the Child Friendly City recognition — joining Houston and Minneapolis in committing to put children first in local policy and planning. To mark the occasion, local leaders and youth advocates gathered last week alongside our President and CEO Michael J. Nyenhuis and Decatur Mayor Patti Garrett to celebrate this community-wide commitment to children’s rights and well-being. Congratulations to everyone in Decatur working to build a city where every child can grow up healthy, educated, protected and respected. 💙

Some big news from #N4GParis: The Bezos family has announced a historic commitment of up to $500 million to the UNICEF-led Child Nutrition Fund — the largest private donation in UNICEF’s history. This incredible investment will help reach up to 320 million children and women every year with lifesaving nutrition support. Even more, it could unlock up to $500 million more from other donors through a global match — doubling the impact and accelerating progress. Undernutrition is a challenge we can solve — and bold action like this brings us closer to that goal. Thank you to the Bezos family for championing a future where every child has the chance to grow up healthy and strong. Extraordinary news. Today, the Bezos family announced a landmark commitment of up to $500 million to the UNICEF-led Child Nutrition Fund — the largest private donation in UNICEF’s history. This bold investment isn’t just historic. It’s catalytic. It represents a turning point in the global fight against undernutrition — one of the most urgent and solvable challenges facing children today. Philanthropy at this scale doesn’t just save lives. It shifts what’s possible. It builds healthier, stronger communities with an impact for generations to come. I’m deeply inspired — and hopeful. I’m very grateful to share that today, at the Nutrition for Growth Summit in Paris, the Bezos family announced a commitment of up to $500 million in support of the UNICEF-led Child Nutrition Fund. This commitment marks the largest private donation in UNICEF’s history and will help reach up to 320 million children and women each year by 2030 with critical nutrition support. Even more, it will serve as a one-to-one match from other private and public donors to expand the impact. Undernutrition remains one of the most urgent threats to children worldwide—but this is a problem we can solve. To the Bezos family, thank you for this historic commitment to supporting children and women everywhere. #N4GParis
