ROSWELL, Ga.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Link Media Outdoor (“Link”), is pleased to announce the purchase of the outdoor advertising assets of Elevation Outdoor Advertising, based in Knoxville, TN. Elevation Outdoor operates over 265 billboard faces including 8 digital displays in Knoxville and East Tennessee. These assets add a geographic expansion into new territory for Link. Scott LaFoy, President and CEO of Link said, “Link is excited to enter the Tennessee market, as we expand our service to advertisers and prospective customers in Knoxville and the East Tennessee area. Elevation Outdoor is a well-built and successful business founded in 2002 by Martin Daniel, a respected Knoxville businessman, former state representative in the Tennessee legislature, and co-founder of the Tennessee Outdoor Advertising Cooperative trade association. Elevation Outdoor has done an excellent job developing this impressive inventory.” Link plans for Martin Daniel to remain involved in an advisory capacity, and Donna Jarnigan to remain involved in a sales capacity. The transaction is Link’s largest acquisition of 2022 and enhances the company’s presence and distribution of outdoor advertising assets in the southeast. Mad Dog Outdoor Consulting, LLC represented the seller.

Link Media Outdoor has solidified leadership roles, over the last few months. Focusing on local impact, General Managers have been named for Illinois, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Evie Conrad has been named general manager for the Link Media Outdoor Illinois market. Prior to this, she was a senior account executive in Quincy, Il with Link. At Key Outdoor, Conrad had been GM and account executive, before the 1700 faces were acquired in August 2018. Her market leadership and sales achievements made her the ideal choice to pull together the five offices and expand the opportunities.
In May, Bill Lodzinski was hired by Link Media Outdoor as General Manager of the Mid-Atlantic/West Virginia market. Lodzinski brings a background of general manager roles in Philiadelphia with Outfront and with Lamar Advertising in Bridgeport, WVa and Roanoke, Va. His Bridgeport and Roanoke successes provide Link Media Outdoor with insight and direction for that new Mid-Atlantic plant.
Rob Wamsley joined Link Media Outdoor in June, as the General Manager for the legacy Wisconsin market. He had spent over twelve years with Outfront/CBS Outdoor in GM and sales management positions. Wamsley’s Out of Home experience in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin easily transferred to a leadership role in the Badger State.
Scott LaFoy, CEO of Link Media Outdoor, was very complimentary of the new GMs. “Each of our markets has its own unique qualities. We understand the best way to serve those communities is with leadership and staff that understands and lives those values. With three new GMs focusing on the local business climate, the Link Media Outdoor response will be on target for growth.”
“Scott LaFoy is a first-class billboard CEO and Link Media Outdoor is in great hands as we continue to build a
first-class billboard business.”
