New Years Craft: Wishing Star
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Glitter foam sheet
- Popsicle sticks
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Craft glue

Instructions:
Step 1: Grab all the colored craft papers you have. This is a great craft project to use up scrap papers.
Cut the colored craft papers into small pieces. I’ve cut the papers into 2 cm x 2cm squares (more or less, depending on your choice).

Step 2: Grab a paper of at least 4 inches x 4inches size. Gather all the small paper cutouts.

Step 3: Start to stick the colored craft paper pieces on the selected larger paper. Overlap the colored craft paper pieces while sticking them on the larger paper.

Step 4: Try to fill the larger paper with the paper patchwork. Try not to leave any gap between the paper patchwork. The patchwork should be enough to trace the star pattern inside it.

Step 5: Use a pencil to trace a 5 point star pattern inside the patchwork.

Step 6: Use scissors to cut out the traced star pattern.

Step 7: Trace and cut out another star pattern but this one should be slightly bigger than the patchwork star. Glue the patchwork star onto the plain star.
Step 8: Attach the star onto a Popsicle stick and cut out another star or star-like pattern from glitter foam sheet; glue it in the center of the paper star pattern.
