- white chocolate chips – use a high quality white chocolate chip like Guittard or Ghiradelli
- sweetened condensed milk – do not use evaporated milk. You want the creamy, thick, and sweet condensed milk
- peanut butter – use creamy peanut butter, unless you want the texture of the crunchy peanuts

How do you make Microwave Peanut Butter Fudge?
Microwave peanut butter fudge is so easy to make. You add all 4 of your ingredients to a microwave safe bowl (I like to use my glass pyrex measuring cup. Microwave the fudge in 30 second increments, stirring for a while after each one, until you can stir it smooth. Mine only took about 1 minute total.
Pour the fudge into an 8inch square pan that is lined with parchment paper, spread it evenly over the top and place it in the fridge until it’s set. Cut it up and enjoy.
Tips for making Microwave Peanut Butter Fudge:
- Make sure you get sweetened condensed milk. Not evaporated milk.
- You can add in chopped peanuts to add a bit of crunch to this yummy fudge. I would add about 1/2 cup.
- Some other yummy mix-ins would be Reese’s Pieces or Chopped Peanut Butter Cups.
- If you don’t have a microwave you can combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan on the stove over medium heat. Stir it all together till everything melts, and is combine. Then pour into the 8inch square pan as usual, and chill.

You can also freeze this peanut butter fudge. You can freeze it in one big slab, or in individual pieces. Wrap the fudge tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil then place it inside a freezer safe ziplock back. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months as long as it is in a sealed bag or airtight container.
When you want to thaw the fridge place it in the fridge, until soft enough to enjoy.

Microwave Peanut Butter Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Line an 8x8inch square pan with parchment paper, leave some hanging over 2 of the sides for easy removal.
- Add all your ingredients to a medium sized microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring for at least 30 seconds, in between each, until you can stir it smooth. Mine only took 1 minute, but a little longer is fine.
- Pour it into the prepared baking dish and spread it smooth over the top.
- Place the pan in the refridgerator until the fudge is set. Then slice it up and enjoy.

Hi I would like to know how many ounces/ squares to use when using white chocolate squares. I can not find white chocolate chips only white chips. So want to try this but not sure how many to use.

You can use white baking chips, from a brand like Ghiradelli, or 12 oz white chocolate squares

The greasiness could also be the type of peanut butter your using. I found some of the off brands had a lot of the oil, settle to the top, and even if you just stir it back in, it’s still greasy. If you have a jar of peanut butter that has grease has separated to the top of jar: poor peanut butter and the oil into a mixing bowl, and beat it until well combined. I found using Jiffy or Skippy do not have that problem.

I tried this recipe last week as a gift for my family at St. Nicholas Day. It was very nice to have home-made sweets this year. Everybody was thrilled and it tasted so lovely.
Added some sultanas (spread them on the tray and poured the mixture on top) and sprinkled it with cinnamon for a Christmassy twist.
I will definitely make this again. (And perhaps test some other versions.) Since it’s all gone already. 😉

Once it set does it have to be refrigerated all the time. What I mean is if I leave it out will it get real mushy.

It will definitely be softer at room temperature, and I prefer it chilled. But it shouldn’t be mushy at room temperature

No it shouldn’t, I haven’t had this problem with the several times I’ve made this fudge, but it’s possible different types of chocolate chips being used could cause this? Can I ask what type you used?
I haven’t tested it with this recipe, but I read that multiple people added a TBS or two to their greasy fudge and reheated it up (they did stove top fudge, so I’m not sure if it would still work in the microwave) and mixed it all together and then it came out creamy, and not greasy. It might be worth a try if it’s bothersome to you, though the grease is more of a nuance and won’t hurt anything, just make it look less nice

I haven’t tested it, but I don’t see why it shouldn’t work. If the sun butter is thinner consistency than peanut butter you may need a little more white chocolate, I haven’t used it before!
