The Pennsylvania State Police K9s received a donation of body armor fromnon-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
K9s Ivan, Rom, Suny, Natascha, Evan, Dexter, Nemo, Rocco, Jack, Gnash, and Molly all received bullet and stab protective vests, PSP announced on their social media Friday.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., works to provide police K9s across the United States with custom fitted vests. So far, the organization has provided over5,350 vests to K9s in all 50 states at a value of $6.9 million.
PSP canines have been used over 2,200 times this year for various searches.
