What are Parking Lights?

Parking lights are the lights on your vehicle that illuminate on the first turn of the head light switch. In the front of your vehicle they generally illuminate in amber, in the rear of your vehicle they will illuminate your tail lights in red.

Parking lights will be illuminated by default when the head lights are activated, or when auto lights are activated. 

In many vehicles (mainly older models), when your head light switch is in the parking light position, the instrument cluster and dash board lights will also illuminate in the interior as well. *NOTE: Newer model vehicles may activate instrument cluster and dash lights with engine on/ignition*
