A great dish like this will have you feeling stuffed for hours. It makes for a perfect meal! I have a post for all kinda of sides you can add to steak meals if you want this to have more substance.
With a homemade steak salad dressing to bring all of the ingredients together into one cohesive and flavorful salad, don’t be surprised if it turns into a new favorite. How to make steak salad
Step 1: Season your steak with salt and pepper and cook until it is medium-rare (135degrees)
Step 2: Let the steak cool and then slice or chop.
Step 3: Toss all of the salad ingredients together.
Step 4: Toss in as much salad dressing as you desire and then enjoy.
Expert Tips
- High Heat: Sear the steak over high heat for a nice crust. Whether grilling or pan-searing, ensure your pan is preheated if you're cooking indoors. This will give the steak a great caramelized exterior.
- Marinate: For added flavor, marinate the steak in a simple mix of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and herbs like rosemary or thyme for about 30 minutes before grilling or searing.
- Roasted Vegetables: Roasted sweet potatoes, beets, or mushrooms can bring some great texture to the salad.
