Elise
Elise (Japanese: エリー Ellie) is a character of the day who appeared in Seeking Shelter From the Storm!. She is the granddaughter of Lacy, who passed away prior to the events of the episode.
Her grandmother Lacy lived all alone at a large mansion. After she passed away, Elise and the rest of her family had plans of tearing the mansion down since it was unoccupied. When she came to inspect the building, she was surprised to see that Ash and his friends were inside, along with an Espurr.
The group explained to Elise they had entered the mansion to wait out a storm, and met Espurr while they were there. Espurr had known Lacy, having received food from her and played with her while she was still alive. Espurr had no idea Lacy had passed away, so when it returned one day, it couldn't find her anywhere. Espurr decided to stay in the mansion to await Lacy's return, and wound up waiting there for years.
When Elise met Espurr, she was moved by its story and decided not to tear the mansion down, but renovate it instead. She also asked Espurr if it wanted to come along to visit Lacy's grave; it happily agreed.

Espurr was a wild Pokémon that befriended and regularly visited Elise's grandmother Lacy. It had been residing in Elise's mansion for years, unaware of her death and believing she would return for it.
Years later, it got to meet Elise, who told it Lacy had passed away. Elise promised not to tear Lacy's mansion down as originally planned, and invited Espurr over to Lacy's grave. Elise also allowed Espurr to keep Lacy's pendant, which it received from Lacy before her death.
