Effect

Allows the player's Pokémon to Terastallize in battle. After being used, it must be recharged at a Pokémon Center or an unvisited Tera Raid crystal to be used again, except after the first portion of a Titan Pokémon battle, between Pokémon League battles, and after each battle inside Area Zero. During Tera Raid Battles, it starts uncharged regardless of its previous state and requires three damaging moves to be used in order to charge it. However, it can still only be used once per battle. Its current state is not altered after the battle. During the battle with Stellar Form Terapagos at the end of The Indigo Disk DLC, it works similarly, but it only requires two damaging moves and can be used up to four times in the battle. After that battle, the orb becomes overcharged with Terapagos's Terastal energy and no longer needs to be recharged between battles.
