History

Gothitelle battling Cynthia's Garchomp

Gothitelle debuted in Jostling for the Junior Cup! where Caitlin selected it for the exhibition match of the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup against Cynthia's Garchomp. Gothitelle started the battle with Flatter, confusing Garchomp in the process. Gothitelle then attacked with Psychic, bashing Garchomp on the ground and walls. Garchomp managed to break free by unleashing a Dragon Rush before landing a direct hit on Gothitelle. After Garchomp used Draco Meteor, Gothitelle used Thunderbolt to block the incoming meteors, while also creating a beautiful fireworks display. After a clash between both Pokémon's Brick Break attacks, the 10-minute time limit ran out and the exhibition battle was declared a draw.

Personality and characteristics

Gothitelle is a very elegant Pokémon, taking a respectful bow the audience of the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup immediately after being summoned from her Poké Ball. After their battle, Gothitelle great sportsmanship, shaking Garchomp's hand in respect for both their efforts. Aside from being a great offensive battler, Gothitelle can use also utilize her moves for defensive properties, shown as unleashed a well-aimed Thunderbolt attack to block several of Garchomp's Draco Meteor meteorites.

Gothitelle in Pokémon Adventures

In Dream a Little Dream, Gothitelle and Caitlin combined their psychic abilities to allow the latter to communicate with the Gym Leaders kidnapped by Team Plasma to learn of their condition. Later, Caitlin interrupted the battle between Black and Drayden, and she had Gothitelle touch Black's head, linking his mind with the Gym Leaders, so they could motivate him to continue the fight and give some clue as to where they were.

In Homecoming, Gothitelle was tasked by Caitlin to sense where N and Zekrom went to, and gave Black the directions where they were. In the next chapter, Caitlin had Gothitelle use Telekinesis to give Marshal and Sawk a boost. It later battled Thundurus, even managing to score a direct hit with Psyshock before the Hood Man called his Pokémon back and retreated.
