Not bad for what it is. Basically stuffed ice cream sandwiches inside a cruff. This is on 1st Ave & street parking is available. It's a busy & popping neighborhood so expect crowds. I went with the Cookie Road sandwich & subbed the rocky road for vanilla because they were out. My sis in law had ube.
We didn't really like the texture of the cruff. It was like stale bread but I believe it's that way because if it's too soft it can't hold the ice cream properly. The dude behind the register was a bit slow & rude but the cutie making the sandwiches was really nice.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2021
My bf and I were nearby and decided to come here for dessert after dinner. We shared the Cookie Monster, which had blue colored cookies and cream, rocky road with Oreos and chocolate syrup. It was a little sweet for me overall with the glazed donut. But super cute for the gram haha

My friends and I were looking for some ice cream and we found something even better! Stuffed Ice Cream!
I ordered the cookie road and shared it with my girlfriend. The ice cream was really delicious and hit the spot. I loved both the cookie monster and rocky road flavors equally. Whenever I needed a change of pace I would take a bite out of the donut containing them.
My friend got the unicorn poop and he enjoyed his treat as well.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 12, 2020
While I have been to ice cream cookie sandwich places like CREAM, Stuffed Ice Cream definitely takes that concept to another level with their doughnuts. On top of using doughnuts Stuffed has a pretty creative menu, which includes items such as ice cream that has cereal in it. The inside space is on the smaller side, but the style inside is very trendy and geared towards the Instagram crowd.
For the ice cream, I got the Cereal Killer alongside a Matcha Ice cream. The Doughnut ice cream was great, with a very nice presentation that looks good in photos. The taste was also very sweet, with the doughnut providing a good texture complement to the ice cream that you were eating. The sizes are also decent, so one is definitely enough for most people. The ice cream was also pretty good, and they allow you to choose unique cone colors such as red for customers if you want to customize.
Overall, it is a bit on the pricier side but it's a pretty unique dessert experience that I would recommend anyone interested to check out!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Justin Z.Dallas, TX268203227Aug 24, 2021
I wish I had the idea of stuffing ice cream inside a donut.
They got plenty of flavors to stuffed inside a palm sized glazed donut. You can do one or two scopes and add on variety of toppings. Not that many vegan choices though. I would recommend the Vietnamese coffee, cookie monster, or Thai tea. You can also go for their signature Cruffs. The ice cream was good while the donuts is a bit dry and stale. But again they ain't a donut shop. You can also get just a regular ice cream on a cone/cup, but you will stand out among the crowd in a weird way, my guy.
The price is expensive around 8-10$ but remember you are getting a no-hole-donut (danish) + ice cream. I would not stuff your face with one of this alone. As the old proverb goes, "sharing is caring", so share it with friends or a date.
Improvement idea: get some high end gelato and fill the hole of an original glazed Krispy Kreme donut. You're welcome! If you do, give me 15% royalty fees please.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Helena W.New York, NY333161147Oct 5, 2022
This place was pretty good, but didn't blow me away. We only ordered ice cream, so can't speak on the cruffin. We tried:
Lavender White Chocolate (did not taste white chocolate, had a stronger lavender flavor)
Pistachio Almond Cookie (did not taste almond or pistachio, very plain)
Thai Iced Tea (subtle Thai iced tea flavor)
Red Velvet Cookie Dough (subtle red velvet, lots of cookie pieces)
The texture was strange, it wasn't very creamy or soft. The flavors are fun, but the ice cream itself wasn't my favorite.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 9, 2020

Stuffed Ice Cream
We used to go to Davey Ice cream, saw this spot opened up a few stores down decided to give it a try. Upon entering we see lots of Instagram pictures on the wall of known people who had the ice cream before. Then we encounter some seats you can sit after you make a purchase. Menu posted up on the wall. Lady asked if you want to try some flavors. In the end we chose the rocky road and the Thai ice tea flavor on a cup. We opt out for the donut because we were full from our ramen dinner and didn't want anymore carbs. The this Thai ice tea flavor really mirrored it, tasted delicious. Rocky road mimic was close can use more chocolate flavor in it. Lady that took our order seem kind of upset when we were deciding what we wanted to order. I still prefer ice cream factory, as they have more distinct flavors. $6.50 for two scoops.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 178457698Sep 29, 2019
All hype no essence. A place with this many accolades should have adequate staffing.
Also, should have more pronounced flavors that don't taste too light to tell what it is and a fresh donut that is actually glazed would help as well.
Ugh, it's a NO for me dawg. I usually like these hipster IG famous ice cream places but this just isn't it. I had the Tai Kwan Do. Vietnamese coffee and thai ice cream with almonds and condensed milk inside a stuffed donut that was room temp and not really glazed at all.
The poor girl at the front was dying but very pleasant. She was the only staff there and it was consistently busy. That's so effed up. I felt bad for her. Will not try again as there is dozens of hipster cool IG famous Ice cream joints to try. But cool idea just poorly executed.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
