Department Machine Shops

Machine Shops located in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering include:

Robert O. Webster Machine Shop, located in Scott Lab W299, used for fabrication of metal components.

Rapid Prototype Lab, located in Scott Lab W180, houses a 3-D printer used largely to create 3-D models from solid models created in SolidWorks or other CAD programs

Research Shop, located in Scott Lab W170, is used strictly for research or for classroom instruction with supervision by course instructor and shop manager. The shop rate is $60/hr
