ECP OpenMP BOF at ECP Community BOF Days 2022
Check out this year’s BOF:
 OpenMP Roadmap for Accelerators Across DOE Pre-Exascale/Exascale Machines.
In this session, we show that OpenMP must not only be functional across the upcoming exascale machines, but also provide the performance that users expect. Facilities representatives and vendors will present their roadmaps for the OpenMP 5.x programming model across next-generation supercomputers. There will also be a panel discussion with OpenMP implementers covering topics such as interoperability, performance characteristics, regression tests, and guidance on how to port ECP applications. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required.

IWOMP’22 Call for Papers Deadline Extension
Are you planning to present a paper at IWOMP 2022?
 This year's IWOMP will be hosted by the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga in the US and will be co-located with EuroMPI 2022.
IWOMP solicits quality submissions of unpublished technical papers that detail innovative, original research and development related to OpenMP programming and its use in applications. Topics include but are not limited to accelerated computing and offloading, data mining and analysis, machine learning, performance analysis and modeling, and general scientific and numerical computations.

OpenMP Offload in Applications of the Exascale Computing Project
A new blog post describing how the OpenMP offload model has been implemented in US Department of Energy applications in the Exascale Computing Project has been published on the OpenMP website. The detailed descriptions can provide ideas on how to implement offload in your own application.
