The program of speakers for IWOMP and OpenMPCon 2021 Virtual is now available and registration is open.

IWOMP 2021 is the 17th International Workshop on OpenMP and will take place as a series of live online webinars from 14-16 Sept. The program includes sessions on applications, case studies, tasking, synchronization, and heterogeneous computing. OpenMPCon includes presentations of the newest compilers and will take place on 13th Sept. Register now for early bird rates.

The OpenMP Architecture Review Board has released Technical Report 10, the Public Comment Draft that previews the upcoming version 5.2 of the OpenMP API specification. This version includes several improvements and refinements:

• Simplified use of target directives
• Extended support for user-defined mappers
• Improved memory allocators
• Refined syntax of OpenMP directives

GPU Programming with OpenMP
Register for the PRACE Autumn School, which will be held from 11 to 15 October in Vuokatti, Finland. The Autumn School will bring together undergraduate and graduate students and postdoc researchers in different disciplines of scientific computing. Hybrid CPU programming with OpenMP and MPI
Online course on Hybrid CPU programming with OpenMP and MPI organized by CSC Finland and PRACE. The course introduces the basics of parallel programming with the OpenMP paradigm and discusses how to combine OpenMP with MPI. It consists of lectures and hands-on exercises. It will be held on 4-5 Oct.
