Summer Course on OpenMP & MPI
 If you are looking for an interesting summer course, have a look at the Parallel Programming with OpenMP and MPI online course organized by ETH Zürich.
The first 30 participants are selected according to a "first-come-first-serve" rule.
The course will be on Aug 17 to 25 and will be presented by Rolf Rabenseifner.

Doerfert and Patel win Hans Meuer Award at ISC22
 Congratulations to Johannes Doerfert and Atmn Patel of Argonne National Lab for winning the Hans Meuer Award for most outstanding research paper at ISC HPC this year! The researchers were recognized for their paper, "Remote OpenMP Offloading."
In this work, they show that the OpenMP accelerator offloading model is sufficient to seamlessly and efficiently utilize more than a single compute node and its connected accelerators.
