IWOMP 2020 call for papers is open

IWOMP is our annual workshop dedicated to the promotion and advancement of all aspects of parallel programming with OpenMP. We solicit quality submissions of unpublished technical papers that detail innovative, original research and development related to OpenMP. The deadline is May 15th.

OpenMP API helps speed up the search for a COVID-19 drug

What's New With OpenMP Tools?

• LLVM Clang:  LLVM Clang 10 expands OpenMP 5.0 support with support for range-based loops, collapsing of imperfectly nested loops, unified shared memory for NVIDIA NVPTX, and other additions. More on LLVM Clang 10.

• LLOV data race checker:  A fast, lightweight, language agnostic, and static data race checker for OpenMP programs has been developed on top of the LLVM compiler framework.. More on the data race checker.

• AOMP open source compiler for Radeon GPUs:  AOMP is an open source Clang/LLVM based compiler with added support for the OpenMP API on Radeon GPUs.  Obtain AOMP from GitHub.

• OpenMP-style multiprocessing in Python with pymp:  Bring OpenMP-like functionality to Python with pymp. It combines some of the best qualities of the OpenMP API, such as minimal code changes and high efficiency, with those of Python, such as code clarity and ease-of-use. Obtain pymp from GitHub.
