You get what you pay for. Cheap product at a cheap price. The suction is terrible and it falls of regularly. Going in the trash.Update- I did throw this item in the trash as I said I was... I just received an email from the company, (I did not contact them) stating they are sending me a new one! I am assuming they believe the product to be defective so we will give it another try when it arrives and I will update again!New update.... the manufacturer sent me another one to try out!!!! Finally! A car phone mount that actually works for us!

We own a 2004 Honda Pilot. Because of its age it has no place to comfortably place a cell phone to glance at while driving. Plus, our dashboard is porous so it does not hold a suction cup. We have tried several suction cup types but within days (sometimes hours). they fall off the windshield. But now... MPOW's phone mount has solved the problem. We have used it over a week and have discovered several pluses:1. The suction cup is powerful and holds without falling off. This is the most important aspect for us. We have had no problems for well over a week, even though our car sits outside in the Southeast heat.2. The ease of which you place your phone in the holder and get it out is fantastic. It puts no stress on the holder which is why we think the suction cup holds so well.3. The arm is easily adjustable to view the phone at pretty much any angle needed.One caveat to note: On our SUV the arm of the holder is not long enough to use the supporting bracket that MPOW offers. However, we have not needed it. It is great though that the company provides it.All in all, it is well worth the cost! Read more

Best holder I've had; failed in a year, but bought another anyway.

Great suction except when really uber hot, but that's true of anything on a windshield in 90+ weather. It rarely came away even in hot conditions. Stable, had great support and worked as advertised. The suction cup separated after a year of use, but I've never seen one I like better that goes wherever I want it to sit. I ordered a new one and it came with a free two year warranty. I have had 3 and they all broke but...

I had 3 similar Mpow Windshield Phone Mount Holders by the same company and they all eventually break. The arm is long enough for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to stick to the windshield as well as sit on the enclosed dash arm clip. On my Chrysler 300, the arm is a little short so the Phone has to rest on the dash or just wobble because the clip cant fit the slightly short arm.On 2 of my purchased mounts, where the arm is attached to the suction cup, it eventually simply comes unglued. On another unit, the arm itself cracked internally so it failed. The company has always responded with either a replacement or refund so I keep purchasing. I like the design while it works. I give 4 stars because when it works, it is great. Read more

Improved Version Except for One Design Flaw

In 2019 I purchased three of their windshield phone mounts. The suction cup was not adequate and the units kept falling off the windshield. And all three soon broke where the long arm meets the back of the suction cup mechanism. Back then I would have given the product a one star rating, essentially junk. However, their most recent advertising mentions an "upgraded" version so I purchased two, and so far they have lived up to their promise. The suction cup itself has been improved and works fine, the unit feels sturdier, and hopefully they beefed up the interior part which previously broke. So far so good. BUT the new design has a phone release button which is very awkward to reach. Definitely not good ergonometric design. AWESOME CELLPHONE WINDSHIELD MOUNT!

I have an iPhone 7 Plus with an Otterbox case and this windshield mount holds my phone well. This is a sturdy and well constructed mount. I cleaned windshield well before using and it has not fallen. (My car is a 2012 Honda Accord) I like that I don’t have to worry about mount falling while I’m driving. Good purchase and I’m thankful I bought this. It works and seems sturdy

I purchased this phone mount for my wife's car after I had success with a different MPOW car mount for my car. I was a little skeptical with the sturdiness of this type of suction cup based mount since I've not had great luck with these lasting a long time in the past. The mount and hardware are easy to assemble and easy to mount to the windshield. The provided support bracket that attaches to the dash that supports the arm seems to relieve some of the pressure on the arm and suction cup on the windshield which is generally the point of weakness for these types of mounts. The FlexiArm is sturdy and the phone holder itself adjusts to many different size of phones. We have a smaller IPhone7 and larger form factor LG G7 with external shock cases which fit easily into the mounting bracket. The one button release of the phone from the bracket is convenient and very easy to use. My wife is happy with the car phone mount. We've had it for 4 weeks and the suction cup and mount seem to be holding up well with no signs of slippage. Only time will tell if the suction cup on the MPOW lasts longer than other units I've had from different brands. Just didn’t work for us

Searched and this seemed a good deal but may be my fault for assuming would easily bend to fit my need but it didn’t. Was for a suziki XL mid size car type SUV. It easily held my IPhone 11 with normal case but I purchased for my son who is in the Air Force and traveling in a new area so he could see GPS on phone.
