Marvel is giving fans another look into its upcoming superhero romp Thunderbolts* and it's looking like a great time.

The trailer kicks off with a car chase through a barren desert as our unlikely crew of “heroes” — Yelena (Florence Pugh), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), and Red Guardian (David Harbour) — desperately flee from what looks like either military forces or well-equipped mercenaries.

Just when the team thinks they’ve dodged disaster, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), the Winter Soldier himself, shows up. But instead of lending a helping hand, he pulls a fast one, turning on his supposed allies and handing them over to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

While we’re left guessing about Valentina’s endgame, the trailer teases a juicy new revelation: she’s acquired Avengers Tower. And that asterisk in Thunderbolts*? It’s because most of the team hates the name, except Red Guardian, who’s enthusiastically embracing it.

Marvel's Thunderbolts* hits theaters on May 2, 2025.
