BTS' Suga opens up about retirement plans: 'Let me rest a little bit before I die...'

BTS member Suga recently shared his thoughts on retirement, giving fans insight into his future plans. The rapper joined BTS at the young age of 17 and has been actively involved in the group's historic journey. He has also worked with various Korean stars, including IU and PSY. Currently, Suga has been busy with his solo tour.

After completing his US tour, Suga returned to South Korea and held a special meet and greet session called Agust D D-DAY: Movie Night in Seoul. During the event, the topic of retirement came up, and Suga expressed his vision of working until the age of 60. He shared, "I envision myself performing until my 60s." Fans responded with enthusiasm, urging him to continue working until his final moments. In a lighthearted manner, Suga replied, "Let me rest a little bit before I die though. I don't think I will be able to even hold a mic at that age!"

Suga also shared his thoughts on his solo tour and revealed that it was during this experience that he realized his wish to perform on stage for as long as possible. Recalling a conversation with Bang PD and other staff members, Suga shared their supportive words, saying, "Yoongi-ah, you would do this for a long time.”

After his brief break in South Korea, Suga was spotted at the airport as he departed for Jakarta to kick off the Asia leg of his tour. The concert is scheduled to take place on Friday, and Suga will also be performing in Kanagawa and Bangkok, among other locations.

While his plans for the future may involve stepping back from the spotlight eventually, it's evident that Suga's passion for performing remains strong, and he aims to deliver memorable experiences to fans for as long as possible.
