No dedicated area for questions?
Why isn't the community encouraged to engage the candidates in answering questions? The way it is formatted as of now, if more people start asking questions as I did on the page attached to this talkpage, it would very soon overwhelm the votes cast by others.

- My question was moved to the end (at the time) of the voting area here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stewards/Confirm/2021/MarcoAurelio&oldid=21076034 with edit summary: Ottawahitech there is no question section for SE, shifted to general comments section .
- It is now sitting together with the reply from MarcoAurelio smack in the middle of a sea of votes , Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 17:20, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Ottawahitech I think me and @Vermont did explain to you for this issues. Per my talkpage and your talkpage. If I am not wrong @Nosebagbear also raised a similar concerns about no questioning. I think the best is to review this after the SE is completed, if I am not wrong Electcom is aware of this issue and maybe next year we might have a question phase? - @Camouflaged Mirage: It actually is two related areas - 1 is a dedicated question time, the other is a dedicated space for questions so they don't sit in the middle of de-facto votes. Obviously the former can't be retrofitted while it's in progress, but question sub-sections could be added to each reconfirmation subpage given there's still weeks to run Nosebagbear (talk) 17:55, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Nosebagbear True. But I see for the other stewards confirmations you and some other users also asked questions. Well let me flag this up to Electcom.
