Hi @Simonfj: Generally we've been giving out accounts to people who have a larger history of participation on wikis - are you active on non-Wikimedia wikis? Or contributing in a way that your edit count doesn't reflect? You can also always sign up with another Mastodon server and still participate in discussions with people on Wikis World (and possibly migrate your account over in the future).
