To the point Until January 14, 2025, you can earn up to 100% bonus points when you purchase points.

Are you short of Aeroplan points to book your nearly free flight? Take advantage of this Aeroplan points purchase promotion.

As part of our winter promotion, you could earn up to 100% bonus points when you purchase Aeroplan points.

Purchase Aeroplan points - Earn up to 100% bonus points

This special offer runs on the Aeroplan points purchase page until January 14, 2025, and allows you to earn up to 100% bonus points when you purchase points(please note that this may vary by member Aeroplan):

Number of points purchased Bonus points
5,000 – 25,000 55%
30,000 – 70,000 75%
80,000 and over 100%

At 100% bonus points, the Aeroplan point costs 1.75 cents (before tax).

With an 85% bonus points offer, the Aeroplan point comes to 1.89 cents (before tax). Bonus levels are as follows:

Number of points purchased Bonus points
3,000 – 20,000 40%
25,000 – 35,000 60%
40,000 and over 85%

This type of promotion works on the principle of “the more points purchased, the higher the bonus percentage.” In our team, we’ve had 100% bonus points, and others have had 85%.

The transaction goes through a third-party site (points.com). This is not considered a purchase on the Air Canada or Aeroplan website (so no extra points per dollar with one of the Aeroplan credit cards).

Buy points Aeroplan - Credit card offers Aeroplan

The great thing about this promotion is that from as little as 40,000 points Aeroplan, any points purchase earns maximum bonus points.

Only if you are urgently short of Aeroplan points for an air award to book now or would like to get more, this may be a good time to proceed with the purchase of Aeroplan points.

Remember that we assess the value of 1 point Aeroplan at 2 cents. So, if you buy a Aeroplan point at less than 2 cents, it could be beneficial for you if you use Aeroplan points to their full potential.
