'It's time to pump yourself up baby,' Cari B declared in her new and controversial commercial that aired during the Super Bowl LVIII broadcast from Las Vegas.
A 30-second spot for NYX Cosmetics was approved by NFL representatives, but it turns out the second half of the original 60-second spot was deemed to be NSFW (not safe for work).
The rapper, 31, showcased her womanly curves in a skin-tight bright orange bodysuit as she advertised the company's Duck Plump Lip Gloss.
While dancing on stage with an array of colorful characters, the Shake It starlet could be heard seductively purring like a kitty just before she demanded: 'Be bigger. So big. Plumper,' which led to her to tell her audience to 'feel the plumping power.'
'New Duck Plump Lip Gloss from NYX Professional Makeup,' she announced at the end of the segment.
Cardi B's Super Bowl commercial forNYX Cosmetics' Duck Plump lip gloss was deemed to be too racy for broadcast and ultimately got edited down
It turns out before airing during the Super Bowl the original commercial was cut down to 30-seconds due to its sexual connotations.
As a result, the second half of the spot, the last 15 seconds, fades to black and then shows a QR code directing viewers to watch the unedited, 60 second version that's now being shared acrossacross NYX Professional Makeup's YouTube and social channels, according to Billboard.
The uncut version was released on the internet ahead of the kickoff for the big game, garnering more than two million views on YouTube by press time.
In the original edit, following Cardi's spiel, the focus shifts to a breaking news report.
'And we're live wondering why men put Duck Plump where it should not... go,' the female reporter announces.
Chaos ensues as female firefighters, 911 operators, among others handle the emergency with grace, which leads to a play on words.
'Cardi said duck.... d-u-c-k,' one of the emergency workers explains, as two women carry a man who looks to be in agony.
'We've got another duck plumper,' another women seemingly in a newsroom declares. 'What is wrong with you guys,' another women adds.
