Dragon Whelp, Creature — dragon, designed by Amy Weber first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 25 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of A$ 0.01.
A red aggressive deck focused on quick damage output and utilizing mana efficiently would benefit from including Dragon Whelp in their strategy. While Dragon Whelp's ability to pump itself up can be powerful, the risk of sacrificing it after multiple activations may limit its effectiveness in some scenarios. Cards like Stormbreath Dragon or Thundermaw Hellkite could be considered better options due to their immediate impact and resilience, but Dragon Whelp could still see play in more budget or thematic decks.

The first three times Dragon Whelp’s ability is activated in a turn will do nothing other than give it +1/+0 until end of turn. Any subsequent activations will also cause its delayed triggered ability to trigger. That means if you activate Dragon Whelp’s ability five times, for example, two different delayed triggered abilities will trigger at the beginning of the next end step and cause you to sacrifice Dragon Whelp.
