Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists barge into civilian's house, kill youth, injure three others

Terrorists abducted a civilian and injured his wife and two other relatives during a raid in Hajin area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district late Monday night.

According to the police, four terrorists, who are believed to be affiliated with the terrorist organisation Lashker-e-Taiba, barged into the house of Farooq Ah Parrey, a resident ofPar Mohalla Hajin. The militants, without caring about the life and dignity of the inmates, fired indiscriminately inside the house.

“The terrorists used the knives that they were carrying and caused grievous injuries to wife, daughter and brother of Farooq, namely Rafeeqa, Neelofar and Hilal Ah Parrey. The terrorists also abducted Muntazir Ah Parrey (the son in law of House owner) from there,” he said

Today morning, the police recovered a body of a Muntazir Ahmad near a bund in outskirts of Hajin area.

The injured in the incident have been shifted to Srinagar. Rafeeqa has one firearm injury besides other serious injuries caused by a sharp weapon. Others have injuries due to an assault using a sharp weapon.

Last year, Farooq’s son was killed ruthlessly by terrorists, who was first decapitated and then thrown his into the river.
