Liberia - Monrovia Executive Mansion by Night
Executive Mansion by Night, Monrovia, Liberia
Photo: E. Ludwig, John Hinde Studios.
Monrovia: The Executive Mansion was completed in 1964 and is one of the most impressive buildings in Monrovia.

I tried to find on the internet if this building was still up. I read on one site that it was gutted by fire on July 26, 2006. Another site said it was now only used by squatters.

Monrovia is the capital city of the West African country of Liberia. It is named in honor of U.S. President James Monroe, a prominent supporter of the colonization of Liberia.

I read on the internet that The Mesurado Bridge, (also known as the Old Bridge) collapsed in 2006 and has since then been rebuilt.
