RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The code red lockdown at Damonte Ranch High School has been lifted.
According to Principal Darvel Bell, school police received reports of an armed suspect headed in the direction of the school shortly before 10 a.m. Friday. Police learned a suspect got in an argument at a nearby construction site and may have been armed and headed towards the school.
Bell says school police cleared every classroom and did not find a threat.

Damonte Ranch High School in south Reno is on a code red lockdown due to a police investigation, according to the Washoe County School District.
According to the school district's website, a code red lockdown is issued when there is a suspected or confirmed direct threat to the school.
