EL DORADO, Calif. (News 4-Fox 11) — El Dorado County Sheriff's Office has announced that they have arrested three people in connection to the death of one El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputy Thursday morning.
Sheriff D'Agostini held a news conference October 24th to discuss updates regarding the investigation into the murder of Deputy Brian Ishmael who was shot a killed in Somerset on October 23rd.
According to the sheriff’s office, they have arrested three men in connection to the murder of Deputy Brian Ishmael. They are 20-year-old Juan Carlos Vasquez-Orozco for murder and assault with a deadly weapon, 22-year-old Romiro Bravo Morales for aiding in the commission of a felony, and 47-year-old Christopher Garry Ross for manslaughter.
The three men are also facing federal charges according to the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of California. Court documents show, they are being charged for Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Firearm.
The investigation is still ongoing.A vigil for Deputy Brian Ishmael was held on Thursday, October 24 in Placerville.
