Welcome
Here is a greeting from our AZ Regional Coordinator, Anne Hamlin:
Greetings Arizona Robotics Enthusiasts,
The Center for Science Teaching and Learning is proud to announce that we will again be a regional hub for NASA’s robotics challenge – ROADS on Mars! For those of you that participated (or wanted to) in the ANGLeS Challenge this past summer, this will be all the same robotics and space exploration fun and more. This year’s challenge is celebrating the Mars 2020 Rover mission.
What’s included? Free professional development in robotics, drones, planetary geological and biological science. Support as you move through the challenge, materials support for teams in underserved areas, and the opportunity to participate in the ROADS on Mars 2020 regional challenge, the first weekend of May. The grand prize for the winning team this year is a trip to see the launch of the 2020 Mars Rover mission next summer!!!
If you are interested in leading a team, reach out to me [email protected]. There is no commitment required for registration.
Sincerely,
Anne
