Alan Miles was appointed CEO in July 2022. Prior, Alan served as the NCS board chair while he also led sales operations, product activation, client training and support for Nielsen’s Global Media business. In addition, he was responsible for Nielsen’s overall strategy.
Alan joined Nielsen, back in 2010, as client business partner owning some of the largest media clients including Comcast/NBCU and Time Warner. Over the course of twenty years, his career involved being a management consultant at McKinsey and Company, a strategist at Time Warner and an equity analyst at Barclays Capital. He has a B.A. in History from Yale University and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
As the CEO at NCS, Alan is now tasked with leading a team passionately focused on continuous innovation to bring the next generation of advertising effectiveness services to the industry. His direct responsibilities include developing strategy and driving our ground-breaking research, development and performance for our company and our clients.
In his free time, Alan gives back to the community as a volunteer and board member of NGPA, the global LGBT Aviation Community. He enjoys long-distance biking, piloting small aircraft and enjoying life co-located in both sunny Miami and lively NYC with his husband.
