CROSBY, Wayne Herman – age 73, Brazil Lake, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born August 10th ,1945 in Liverpool, NS, he was a son of the late Malcolm and Madeline Crosby. Wayne grew up on a farm, he loved singing, playing pool and teasing his wife. He volunteered at Exhibitions across Nova Scotia for years, but he always had time for family. He loved his wife, children and his first granddaughter, Chloe. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Cara Killam Crosby, as well as by his children, Jade Crosby, Jason Crosby and by his only granddaughter Chloe Michelin. Also surviving are sisters Lynn May, Judy Prime, Betty Crosby, Mary Theriault, Patsy Comeau and brothers Bert Crosby, Bob Crosby and countless nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Scott Crosby ; brothers Richard Crosby and Vance Crosby. Arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at a later date.
