OJ Simpson has denied being the father of Khloe Kardashian as he rubbished rumours of a past romance with her mother Kris Jenner.
In a video message posted on Twitter on Father's Day, the former NFL star criticised "bogus" and "tasteless" stories suggesting he had a sexual relationship with Jenner.
Jenner's former husband, Robert Kardashian, was part of Simpson's legal team when he was cleared of the brutal murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman in a 1995 trial that gripped the world.
Simpson said: "Bob Kardashian, he was like a brother to me. He was a great guy.
"He met and married Kris and they really had a terrific time together, when they were together. Unfortunately that ended.
"But never, and I want to stress never, in any way shape or form, have I ever had any interest in Kris romantically or sexually.
"And I never got any indication that she ever had any interest in me. So all of these stories are just bogus. Bad. Tasteless."
Simpson said he was "very proud" of Khloe Kardashian and her sisters, before adding: "Just like I know Bob would be if he was here.
"The simple fact of the matter is - she's not mine."
Simpson signed off the message by saying: "Happy Father's Day. Take care."
The 71-year-old launched his Twitter account last week with a video post saying he had a "little gettin' even to do".
He has generally kept a low profile since his release from prison in October 2017 for robbery and kidnapping after he attempted to steal back some of his sports memorabilia from a Las Vegas hotel room.
After being acquitted of murdering Ms Brown Simpson and Mr Goldman, Simpson was ordered to pay $33.5m for the wrongful deaths of the two victims.
Simpson continues to declare his innocence, while the murder case is officially listed as unsolved.
