Heavy rain causes flight cancellations, flooding in Germany

Heavy rain and thunderstorms hit the city of Frankfurt, causing flooding, submerging cars and underground stations, and led to dozens of flight cancellations at Frankfurt airport, the country’s busiest and a major European hub, authorities said Thursday.
