Times Square’s desnudas “can-can” learn a thing or two from these fine feathered mademoiselles.
Hailing from Paris’ Moulin Rouge, they were part of a troupe of 16 dancers performing in the Crossroads of the World Sunday for the Best of France festival, in a classy upgrade from the body-painted beggars.
“They really transfer energy out to the audience,” said onlooker Nick Vanacore. “It’s unique. It has glamour and talent.”
It was also special for troupe member Alexandra Freeman, 30, a California native.
“To come back to my country and to represent my country with the Moulin, to be dancing in the middle of Times Square, it’s literally a dream come true,” she said.
