A tightrope can be found within the tightrope room during a Chambers of Xeric raid. The tightrope is being guarded by deathly rangers and mages, and must be successfully crossed to obtain a keystone crystal, used to dispel a barrier blocking the path to the next room. Crossing the tightrope requires an Agility level randomly chosen based on the Agility levels of the players participating in the raid.

Whilst typically unaggressive, attempting to cross the tightrope will cause the mages and rangers to automatically attack the crossing player, likely dealing lethal damage due to the monsters' ability to hit through protection prayers and the tightrope's ability to stall damage. Therefore it is recommended to kill all or most of the rangers and mages protecting the tightrope. Some advanced strategies exist where none of the monsters need to be killed in order for the crossing player to cross the tightrope and dispel the barrier.
