Hay muchas maneras diferentes de decir las mismas cosas y los modismos hacen que el idioma inglés sea divertido. Los estudiantes aprenderán sobre diferentes modismos y cómo pueden usarse para hacer que la escritura sea más interesante. A través de una serie de ejercicios, los estudiantes unirán modismos con significados, completarán oraciones y escribirán un párrafo usando al menos dos modismos. Habrá una gran oportunidad de explorar la escritura de una manera creativa cuando los estudiantes creen sus propios modismos divertidos para un párrafo corto que leerán en clase.

In this class students will learn all about idioms. They will learn how to identify idioms in sentences and interpret the meanings. Students will complete exercises and create a short paragraph with idioms they create.Otros detalles

Hello my name is Jacqueline Bartley. I have been teaching learners of different ages for over 15 years. I enjoy teaching English, some Math and Social Studies. I have been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) for over 3 years and I am TOEFL and TESOL certified. I enjoy teaching children and experience great joy when I can help them understand subjects they might think are hard.
I earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Management Education and a Master's certificate in College Teaching. My philosophy on education is centered on the words by Vernon Howard, “Always walk through life as if you have something new to learn and you will.” I believe that every new day is an opportunity to learn something new and education can be a catalyst that can propel anyone to achieve their goals in life.
