– Barangay Profile

Barangay Don Bosco was formerly a part of Barangay La Huerta, in the Municipality of Parañaque, Metro Manila. By the Virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1322, Creating Barangay Don Bosco in the Municipality of Parañaque, Metro Manila of the President Ferdinand E. Marcos took effect on the 3rd day of April, 1972. The fundamental aim of the state is to hasten up the pace of socio-economic development throughout the country. It has been clamor of the residents of the proposed barangay with the conformity of the elective officials of the locality to create the new barangay so as to achieve a closer supervision of the execution of the developmental programs of the locality and contribute greatly to the upliftment of the socio-economic well being of the residents. The following subdivision known as Better Living Aero Park, Scienceville and Levitown in Barangay La Huerta, Parañaque. Metro Manila, were detached and separated to form a distinct and independent Barangay Don Bosco without affecting any manner the legal existence of the Mother Barangay. An amending ordinance no. 07-017 henceforth known as the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Zoning of the City of Parañaque.

– History

For the effective implementation of the declared programs of government for its development, Barangay Don Bosco was created by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1322 last April 28, 1978. The following subdivision known as Better Living, Aero Park, Scienceville and Levitown in Barangay La Huerta were detached and separated to form and constitute in to a distinct and independent barangay. Its creation hasten up the pace of socio-economic development throughout the locality.

Barangay Don Bosco to be a home of God fearing Bosconians living peacefully and orderly. A friendly environment with feeling of belongingness, free from crimes and poverty, cooperative, religiously participating for a progressive barangay.

Through SIPAG ay PAG-UNLAD serve Bosconians effectively and efficiently to the fullest of abilities, to implement rules and regulations, create partnerships for political, social, cultural and economic development moving towards a harmonious life with God, man and nature.
