Bourbon Biscuit Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream

If making brownies seem like a super tedious task to you, then here is a recipe you should try. A super easy and quick brownie recipe that just needs churning, mixing, pouring and baking! We have used bourbon biscuits innovatively along with Eno fruit salt to make this one. Next time your kid wants a brownie for dessert, you will need less than half an hour to prepare it for him.

Ingredients

  • 50 gm Marie biscuits
  • 200 gm Bourbon biscuits
  • 3 tbsp Bournvita powder
  • About ¾ cup low fat milk
  • 1 packet plain Eno Fruit Salt

To Serve

  • 1 scoop vanilla Ice-cream
  • 1 tsp chocolate sauce

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180 C. Grease a 6” square cake tin and dust it with flour.

Step 2

In a mixer jar, add the marie biscuits, bourbon biscuits and churn it into a powder.

Step 3

Add the mixture into a bowl. Add bournvita powder and stir. Add milk to form a smooth batter.

Step 4

Now quickly add Eno Salt and give it a quick stir. Add the batter into the prepared tin and bake it in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes.

Step 5

To check the brownie for doneness, insert a skewer in middle of the cake. If it comes out clean, the brownie is done. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for 15-20 minutes, before taking it out of the tin.

Step 6

Once, brownie has cooled down to room temperature, slice it into squares.

Step 7

Serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce.
