The root cause is your translation session could not get a cxserver token(You can see that error message in console). This token is required for machine translation using the services like Google etc.

Why this happening for you is unknown, but some extra information will be helpful for us to debug.

  1. Is this issue repeat if you reload the page?
  2. Is this issue happening only for a specific artcle or for all translaitons?
  3. Is this issue happening in a specific browser or for other browsers too?

I am reducing the priority from "Unbreak now" to "medium" as this is not affecting all CX users and translations are successfull for other users.

@santhosh
Is this issue repeat if you reload the page? Yes.
Is this issue happening only for a specific artcle or for all translaitons? This issue is happening for all translations.
Is this issue happening in a specific browser or for other browsers too? This issue is happening in Google Chrome (version 91, last version).

Thanks for the details. Are you by chance have any kind of edit blocks in the wiki? The error says 'blocked'. Another user reported a simialar issue: T286530: Can't use ContentTranslation while a user is partially blocked

I improved the handling of user's blocks in this commit: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/ContentTranslation/+/704272

The saving, MT token issue should be resolved by this. This patch will be deployed in wikis by end of next week.

I am marking the ticket as resolved. @RodneyAraujo in case you are still facing the issue, please reopen. Thanks
