Workaround (works in firefox):
- Right-click on page (https://petscan.wmflabs.org/);
- Click on "inspect"
- Find the line on html that reads
<body style="display:none">
- Right click on it and select "Edit as HTML"
- Change to
<body style>
- Click somewhere else in the html code
- Tool should appear normally.

I noticed it yesterday at Wikidata. I removed the MoreMenu.js user script from my Global.js (https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User%3AGoEThe%2Fglobal.js&diff=25261401&oldid=22208182) and that seemed to solve it.

Fair enough, I misunderstood what the columns meant. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
The 'optout rate (percentage)' column is misleading as it does not reflect the percentage of users that opted out from the number of users that tried Vector2022, but is rather the proportion of users who opted out / total number of users (however that is defined, either active or registered). So I would say that these numbers are underestimated, if you want to know what is the percentage of people that tried the new skin and then opted out. You need to have the number of people who tried.

Hi @jwang. Great job on this! I was wondering if when discounting reverted edits, shouldn't you discount also reversions? I mean, if people don't make the edits that get reverted, the reversion would not be needed either.

Abuse filter stats would also be interesting to monitor, number of actions prevented in particular.
Oct 12 2020
One interesting thing to consider are stats for experienced editors. One of the main arguments of banning IPs was that freeing experienced editors from reviewing IP edits would enhance their productivity by freeing up time to create and expand articles. So most likely number of revert, protect, or block actions go down, but other types of edits should go up.

Hmm, OK. I will check how to set that up next week. I am on my phone at the moment.
Eleven people signed up as interested last time I checked. Is that enough to start a trial?

Once we can test the inteface on translatewiki, I think we can ask for people to sign up somewhere. We can probably reach out to people who have mentored newcomers before: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categoria:!Tutores
Some are perhaps not active anymore.

I finished the pt translation and it seems pt-br is also complete.

Hi. Sure, time permitting. What do you need from me? The translations noted in the description?

I believe this taks is no longer necessary, as organizers have moved to Wikidata-based lists.

@He7d3r , I tried it briefly. I think the script works fine. The symbols are not immediately intuitive, but I guess for this phase that is not what is important. I think we can publicize it yes, and see what they think about the new draftquality model.

I would imagine that we would, unless people are too loose with the deletion reason and are using that as a catch-all reason to delete something. Could we get a list of most common words in the test articles as a sanity check?
Apr 23 2020
That is fine. We had a bunch of comments on Telegram (https://t.me/wikipediapt), not easily recovered here. I think it might be easier for people to gather feedback in a wiki page than here.

I would just paste the content of the etherpad on Esplanada. And don't forget to finish you message with four tildes ("~~~~"), so that your signature is added to the message.
Yes, that's a good idea. You can post this message on the Esplanada, our version of the Village Pump (https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Esplanada/an%C3%BAncios). You can either post it in English or we can translate it to Portuguese before you post it.

That one was evaluated in 2008, so standards probably have changed.
Special:NewPages only lists articles under 30 days old. I would go with that.

No, it is not automatically generated. I believe only when there is a '?' is the classification automatic. Any number there overrides the automatic classification.
"Amostragem da qualidade de 4 mil edições (2020)" seems a reasonable translation to Portuguese.
I think it sounds reasonable. I can recruit some Wikipedians to do this on the Village Pump and on the Telegram chat.

@Darwinius said that he might have some time to help. And of course I can answer some questions as they appear, if time is not critical.

Hi, sorry. Things are a bit unstable at the moment. I don't think I can commit for that amount of time.

Sounds good to me.
Hi. I just noticed that in the example you mentioned (https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discuss%C3%A3o:Luiz_In%C3%A1cio_Lula_da_Silva), the classification was not automatic, but rather by an editor. See for example https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discuss%C3%A3o:Albino_Forjaz_de_Sampaio where the classification is automatic.
@Chtnnh Not sure if this will answer your question, but perhaps you can follow up on more specific questions if needed.
Mar 10 2020
@Chtnnh thank you! Let me know if you need anything else.

There are some additional standard deletion reasons that can be used for spam or vandalism, available in the dropdown menu:
Mar 3 2020
Hi. If you think the old data is still valid, no need to start a new labelling campaign.
Yes, you would tag vandalism with ER20. ER20 may also be used for spam and advertising.
The first number is the general quality, the other ones are importance measures, not related to quality, but the relevance of the topic for each project.

I don't think this is needed anymore, the filter is disabled and we don't have a massive problem with vandalism.
You are right, @DannyS712 . I think these one on the other hand are: https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?target=Tuga1143&namespace=all&tagfilter=&start=&end=2019-05-31&limit=50&title=Especial%3AContribui%C3%A7%C3%B5es

It seems that pages protected before march 2014 don't show that data: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:ProtectedPages&offset=459647&namespace=12&type=edit&level=0&sizetype=min&size=; https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Especial:P%C3%A1ginas_protegidas&offset=56259&namespace=0&type=edit&level=0&sizetype=min&size=
Hi @Aklapper.
As far as i remember (I hadn't looked through that page in years, probably 2010), this didn't happen before.

We announced the beta test on the Watchlist from June to October 2013 https://pt.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki%3AWatchlist-details&type=revision&diff=37047797&oldid=36119894, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the popularity of the feature among registered users. We did not see much resistance to its use as on many other languages, but again I can not explain why. Portuguese Wikipedia is also not as techy-driven as other language versions. There is only a handful of editors with programming skills. I personally started using it mostly because of citoid and my aversion of filling out citation templates by hand.

I just had the same problem on ptwiki. I received notification but no email. Asked somebody else to send a test email, and received both the notification and the email, so we figure that the problem might be in the bounced message having an email address within it and it bounced because of that.
