The PhD Project Accounting Association was created in 1994 as a system of support and a national network of Black/African Americans, Latinx/Hispanic Americans and Native Americans/Canadian Indigenous doctoral students and faculty in Accounting at universities in the United States and Canada.
The annual Accounting conference is held in conjunction with the American Accounting Association Annual Meeting (AAA).
