Congratulations to Scott Prokop; PFRE Photographer of the Year for 2024! Scott won the September 2024 PFRE photographer of the month contest ("Stairwell").

I am beyond thrilled and humbled to be named the PFRE Photographer of the Year for 2024! This recognition is a testament to the amazing journey I’ve had in the real estate photography industry and the incredible community that surrounds it.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the PFRE community, the judges, and everyone who has supported me along the way. Your encouragement and inspiration have pushed me to continuously strive for excellence and creativity in my work.

To my fellow photographers, I am in awe of the talent and artistry you bring to this industry. Being a part of this community is a constant reminder of how much we all learn and grow by sharing our experiences, challenges, and successes.

I also want to thank my clients, who trust me to showcase their properties in the best possible light (quite literally!). Your belief in my work drives me to go the extra mile every day.

My adventure started 10 years ago with the PFRE and the E-Book "The Business of Real Estate Photography" by Larry Lohrman.  Learning from Larry and the blog was instrumental in getting me going.  In the following years the website and community grew and I'm so glad to be a part of it.

Winning this award is not just a personal achievement; it’s a reflection of the passion I have for real estate photography. I’m continually inspired by how we, as photographers, help tell the story of each property and its potential to become someone’s dream home.

This recognition motivates me to push even harder in 2025 and beyond, exploring new techniques, embracing innovation, and continuing to raise the standard of excellence in our field.
