No recolor the black line (not the wick) using the yellow color on the right side and the red on the left side.

So make a black outline?

Now don't be sloppy and change that black line that should be a highlight and make both halves be even to themselves and the lower curve.
I believe in your simple pixelling style but messy and sloppy is below you.
