Want your streaming app to reliably remember where you left off and seamlessly resume on the same device or another device? Display new episodes as soon as they are available without terminating and restarting the app? Allow you to blacklist inappropriate ads showing gambling or animal cruelty? The SBS On Demand app does none of these things. It's exactly what software developers mean when they call it a MVP: a Minimum Viable Product. Come on SBS, finish the job.

Thanks for the feedback Daniel. We have future work to revisit how user activity is managed in the app. You can be blacklisted for gambling ads if you contact customer service ([email protected]) with your email. As for animal cruelty, we'd appreciate the ad detail. Thank you.

So glitchy on smart TV. Add runs over top of program, listening to a superannuation ad and a different ad at the same time. If I use my tablet to watch something when away I have to uninstall app on smart TV every single time and reinstall in order to stop multiple things playing at once. Even when I exit the app it will keep playing (only on brand new smart TV). Never happens on tablet or phone. Nothing syncs across devices on the account. Very frustrating app and no resolutions.

App closes as soon as I try and play a programme. Useless to me. Further to this, thanks for your response, SBS. Been trying to turn off ad blockers but not clear on how to. Not sure I'm finding right buttons. Anyway, I'll leave it for now and maybe contact SBS support later.
