It could be a pretty good app. The problem is that the wireless connection is...odd to say the least. There are specific 'blackout' areas, as in physical locations, where android auto is guaranteed to disconnect. Disconnecting consistently (every time) occurs in 3 areas that I frequent and it is incredibly frustrating. I've waited a couple years now hoping for a fix but it seems this is something not on the list of fixes. Would love to hear any feedback on this if anyone has additional info.

I like most of the app, it usually kicks in automatically and connects my music and map apps to my car speakers and screen. One big issue I have though, is that when I listen to voice messages from Facebook Messenger, I have to crank the volume way up, then when the message ends, my music resumes at a deafening volume. I would like to see an improvement to volume control, so that these things played at the same level.

Edit: playing music is great and all, but I can do that with Bluetooth. Communication has been FAR too unreliable lately. I dictate a message, it reads the message back to me to verify, I say yes send, and it closes. But doesn't send the message. Which in turn leads to all sorts of issues. If communication isn't reliable, AA is USELESS to me. This remains at 1 star until I get at least a year of consistent functionality. Thumbs down, Google, you messed it up again.
