Brand Yoshi
Fun game but only when you get lucky. Roguelike feeling, obtain perks and go through loads of enemies. Platformer bullet hell. If you die you have to use a recharging currency to play again. Never liked that system. Let players enter any stage for free and the game would be more fun. The game feels like a slot machine. You need good perks to beat the series of levels, and furthermore if you don't get them, then you have little chance of winning. The autofire aspect means u just need to dodge.

The gameplay in general is fantastic. Smooth controls, challenging but not frustrating. The grind to power up is decently paced so far (world 3). However the game is inundated with endless pay to win and pay to play. It has an energy system. I edited it up to 3. The in game prices are insane and the grinding to upgrade is a sludge, but the gameplay is fantastic. I'm happy to support the developers usually, but $40 a month to have a decent level up path is insane.

This game could be amazing and fun...but its frustrating. You need to do some pretty heavy grinding to advance very far, which is fine, the game itself is fun and fast paced. But the energy system seems designed to piss people off. You get enough energy to play four rounds. (Maybe 15 mins gameplay) then you have to wait hours to recharge. Get rid of it! Just let people play your game!
